Accessful develops AI software that automatically makes PDF documents accessible. We currently do not have any positions advertised - but we welcome unsolicited applications.
Digital participation, document by document
A PDF without tags, a logical reading order and alt text is barely accessible to screen-reader users. Accessful uses AI to add this structural layer in line with PDF/UA-2 and WCAG 2.2—from individual documents to collections containing thousands of files. Every remediated document gives people access to content that was previously unavailable to them.
Accessful GmbH was founded in January 2025 and is based in Berlin. We are a small team and work on the entire product: AI models that understand text, layout and image content, a web app with live status, a REST API for integration into customer systems and on-premises installations for organizations with high security requirements.
