What we do
Accessful automatically audits and remediates PDF documents for accessibility. The AI understands text, layout and image content, adds the missing structural layer - tags, reading order, alt text - and documents each result in an audit-ready report. The layout and content of your documents remain unchanged.
The required specialist knowledge is built into the AI. You need neither in-house PDF/UA expertise nor additional tools, only your documents.

Created where the requirements are high
Accessful originated in the insurance industry. A large insurer needed to make both new and existing policy documents accessible, including continuously generated documents and its accumulated document collection. Doing this manually was neither practical nor economically viable.
This project showed that PDF accessibility could be automated. Our two CTOs spent around three years developing an AI that understands and independently remediates documents. We founded Accessful GmbH in January 2025 and have continuously improved the AI models ever since.
